When you have installed Golf80 on your mobile phone, you can enter your scores anytime and anywhere, on the course or in the clubhouse after the round.

Andoid

Golf80 provides an Android client. Scan the QR-code or visit m.golf80.com on your phone.

Java enabled phones.

This category includes all generic phone types release from Nokia, Siemens, SonyEricsson, Samsung, Motorola and more.

Which Java phones are Golf80 compliant?

All Java enabled phones are supported. The Java client is written with support for old phones in mind, so simplicity is the key in this client.

Touch-screen phone options

Golf80 works on all recently released mobile phones. The Java client includes touch-related options for easier score entry. We do however recommend that you follow the release of the new Golf80 client, by following us on Facebook and Twitter. New clients will be released before the end of March 2011.

Golf80 mobile setup

The first option is to click here, save the target file on your computer and then send it via Bluetooth (or using any other file transfer protocol) to your phone.

The other option is to visit http://m.golf80.com on your mobile phone and follow the instructions there.

Symbian SmartPhones

Golf80 provides a Symbian Smart Phone client. Scan the QR-code or visit m.golf80.com on your phone.

IPhone

Golf80 provides mobile scores registration for IPhone via m2.golf80.com. Scan the QR-code to visit the website.

Blackberry

For Golf80 install follow either of the following setps:

Web-setup

  1. Visit http://m.golf80.com/sw/Golf80.jad on your mobile phone.
  2. The Blackberry installation setup should start and install Golf80 on your phone.

Desktop Manager setup:

  1. Save the following file on your computer: http://m.golf80.com/sw/Golf80.zip
  2. In that zip archive there are 2 files, Golf80.cod and Golf80.alx. Extract the zip file to a location on your computer where you can easily find the 2 files.
  3. User the Desktop manager to open Golf80.alx and follow the installation instructions.
